Charles S. Aspinwall is a trial lawyer with 37 years experience. Mr. Aspinwall practices primarily criminal and personal injury law, and is associated with Scott Pistone, Rob McIntyre, Dan Herbison and Gene Gruber who practice other types of law such as domestic relations, family law, bankruptcy, business law, estate planning and administrative law.
Mr. Aspinwall is a 1967 graduate of the University of Wyoming College of Law where he graduated with honors. He is admitted to practice in the courts of Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico and the Federated States of Micronesia, and was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States in 1971.
Of special interest to the firm is the legal relationship of those who use the public lands and the regulatory agencies which govern that use, such as the Bureau of Land Management, the United States Forest Service, the Bureau of Recreation, and the United States Fish and Wildlife Service. Mr. Aspinwall has extensive experience in litigation with federal agencies on behalf of farmers, ranchers and others whose use of public lands brings them into legal conflict with those agencies.
Mr. Aspinwall presently resides in Los Lunas, New Mexico, but travels extensively throughout the Southwest in Texas, Oklahoma, Nevada and Arizona. His litigation practice takes him to the various state and federal courts in these states.
